As per Anna University regulations, students of Bachelor of Architecture are required to prepare a thesis in their final year of studies on a subject of their choice, under the guidance of a faculty or thesis committee. The objective of the thesis program is for the student to ensure that he/she has acquired sufficient knowledge and skills to enter the world of the profession as an independent practicing architect.

Every student is assigned an advisor who relentlessly guides the student to thoroughly examine, study, analyze, design, and present in detail the project of his/her choice as a practically feasible solution in the context of the prevailing socio-economic scenario.
Regular reviews are conducted for different stages of the thesis process and industry expert professionals are called to review and guide the students so that the thesis projects are accomplished with finesse as per industry requirements.
