PROFESSOR & AUDIT HEAD

The mother art is architecture. Without an architecture of our own, we have no soul of our own civilization

Frank Lloyd Wright

Greetings. Architecture has stood as a representation of society; it has the ability to shape our lives and change our perceptions and emotions. Thus it is an all-encompassing discipline that has a phenomenal potential to bring about substantial benefits to individuals and society.

We aim towards imparting excellence in quality education and exposure addressing the challenges faced by society, academia, and the construction world.

We are committed to providing our students with a holistic education that equips them with the skills and knowledge necessary to become responsible citizens, committed architects, and disciplined individuals. To achieve this, we have implemented a robust internal quality assurance system that enables us to continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of academic programs, teaching and learning processes, student support, and facilities management through internal and external academic audits.

In addition, we have established a culture of continuous improvement, where all faculty members are encouraged to contribute to the enhancement of our programs and services. This is supported by regular professional development opportunities at various levels.

Also, we believe in “Learning outside the classroom” through a range of student engagement activities like workshops, seminars, architectural competitions, and societal welfare initiatives that encourage students to take an active role in shaping their educational experience.

Overall, we thrive to equip our students with the skills and abilities to meet the challenges of the rapidly evolving architecture field with more confidence and to make a positive impact in their chosen careers.

Welcome to the world of Architecture through AMS Academy of Architecture planning for a bright future with a noble cause.

Our Department will work with AMSAC and other industry partners to identify job openings that are relevant to student’s areas of study. We will also provide career counseling, resume writing workshops, and interview coaching to help students prepare for job interviews. We are maintaining a database of firms and we will provide a job openings database also and facilitate connections between students and potential employers. Since last year we have plans to organize placement day and networking events where students can interact with AMSAC members and explore job opportunities in various architectural firms also.

Our Department will initiate a student & staff exchange program with partner institutions within India and abroad. The program will allow students to do a semester project at a partner institution, where they will be immersed in a different academic and cultural environment. The exchange program will also provide students with opportunities to learn new languages, develop cross-cultural communication skills, and expand their networks. The college will work with partner institutions to ensure that students receive credit for the courses they complete during their exchange.

We also have plans to introduce design-oriented undergraduate programs and also master’s programs in architecture in the nearby future.
